The tartare is nothing special, but good quality – so definitely recommend. For me it would be a regular go to place, nothing for a celebration. Interior is woody, not too fancy, but I absolutely love that. Book your spot in advance, it’s a little tricky to get a table otherwise.”

The service was fantastic, the food exquisite – the only thing that was actually horrible was our table. We sat in the middle of the room next to the door of Kim Pak Ngo, that opend and closed every couple of minutes. I would recommend to just ditch those two tables and stick with a few less tables in order to asure your service.”

Anyway our waitress was a disaster. After the dinner we wanted to compliment on the dishes but also give feedback, that the non alcoholic beverage pairing was definitely a bit too expensive. In contrast dinner is worth every penny. Instead of taking that feedback she told us that we were probably not educated enough in the area of non alcoholic drinks and also taste is quite a subjective matter. Well, yes sometimes it is, but unfortunately we both have a background in food technology and my company is the co-founder and active beverage technologist in a non alcoholic beverage startup. So in this case, we are aware how non alcoholic drinks are produced. This conversation made me quite angry. I wanted to come back with a group two weeks later but chose not to, because of this incident! Service is everything.”
